pointless puzzle pieces and comical tragedies

Seatworks have always been a nightmare, especially if it involves numbers, problem solving, variables and unknown effing quantities.

But if seatworks are now all about making pointless puzzle pieces, comic strips and a million paragraphs of pure nonsense, basically just like a Lifestyle Network program gone wrong which is all about being the "creative" and "crafty" you, well then, that's where we have to draw the line.

I've really had enough, and I'm sure you already know what I'm talking about (well, most of you at least). I know you're sick and tired of having to squeeze out the last of your creative juices, just like I am. It would be okay if there's no project to be done after all those nasty seatworks to be passed after the period. That's like less than 40 minutes of trying to be Carol Duvall, still not including the giving directions and complaints part, which leaves us about 20 minutes of pure fun and sheer joy .

Really now.

Well, I, for one, am just glad that we're all going to some strange retreat house in Batangas this Wednesday. Even if the other sections are ruining our "good" thoughts about the retreat, which we've been anticipating (only because we seriously NEED to escape school), by sharing their own horrible experiences there (example: fugly blankets, uncomfortable beds and lack of water supply), I'm still going to be excited about it. Any break is g-double o-d.

aaah i've got tons of homework and quizzes to study for. sobrang nakakatamad, gusto ko pa naman manood ng deebeedee.
but i need a break, even if it's just for 30 minutes, and yes, part of the 30 minutes is being spent in this crappy entry.

i seriously need to do better in math (even though that's highly unlikely). i've already failed 2 (or 3) quizzes out of 6, and believe me, it is NOT okay. is it my fault that i have not been made as a mathematical genius blessed with freaky mathematical skills? apparently, it is not. however, dozing off and doodling, that's my fault, and i gladly admit that.

i've finished 2 books out of 4 lined up books. i'm currently rereading The Curious Incident blahblah and Kiss Kiss still remains unread. Also I have to finish rereading The Grim Grotto and The Penultimate Peril, hopefully this week (or not). I'm actually thinking of rereading yet again the whole ASOUE series before October 13 comes. Crazy, I know.
OMG i really must be obsessed.

Oh yea. I AM.

Anyway, thanks to those who gave me those palancas in advance: Paula, Kathy, Ces, Alex, and Dannie (yung kay danielle parang parol na ewan :)) pero ayos) Mica, Angel, Nikki, Quico and Anjo, where's mine?and aia's? :)) daya niyo a. just kidding.

Heyhey, gotta run. I still have to make a Physics outline on a topic 8 pages long, a sucky CL hw and AP reflection and other sucky stuff to study for.

Aaaah, the perils of school.

Devious and Twisted,

Therese

face it, sucko.

i'm the hero of fools.

all quoted.

"The sad truth is that the truth is sad."

"It's amazing how people are always willing to listen to a man in a funny costume"

"People don't always get what they deserve in this world"

"You can not be a supermodel."

"I'm beginning to think that washing my face is a complete waste of time"

"Most women would rather be Cindy Crawford than Marie Curie"

"The world is a harum scarum place."

"If a guy is witty, charming and artistic, he is probably gay."

"Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaraunt, filled with odd waiters who bring you items you never asked for and don't always like."

"In relationships, it is best to assume nothing."

"Not only am I very intelligent, but I am also very smart."

"Hey, I heard your friend died"

"Yea"

"Well, don't feel bad. He's an old guy, and that's what old guys do. They DIE."

"Certain things they should stay the way they are.You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and just leave them alone. I know it's impossible but it's too bad anyway."

"I remember how, a couple of days ago, you and I killed a couple of hours with a computer game. Perhaps the game amused me more than it did you; I desperately needed a little respite from all my thoughts. But each time we 'died' in that game, a new screen immediately came up, and we were off again. How can we know that there isn't a 'new screen' for our souls as well? I don't think there is, I really don't. But the dream of something unlikely has its own special name. We call it hope."

blasto fasto. congratulations, reader, you've clicked the scroll button long enough to have reached the part that nobody dares to reach. now buzz off.
