sick cycle carousel

THANK'S.
Yes, with the apostrophe s. No I haven't gone mad. Maybe close, but not yet.

Get this. I saw this: "Thank's. Ride Again" inside a jeep, while I was bored out of my wits. I had to laugh. Suddenly, I remembered the book I read about punctuation. Hmm. It actually makes sense.

Jeepney rides usually scare me (actually the drivers do). I got a really good look yesterday of what the jeepney really looks like. With its flags, colored lights and scary painted faces of the unknown, it kind of seems like a doggie ride in a carnival, you know? The ones you get to ride for a few bucks to take you round and round the whole blasted place.

Imagine, for 10 pesos, you could pretend you're really having the time of your life; get to experience the wouldn't-want-to-be-anywhere-but-here kind of feeling.

This is why those rides with a gazillion colored lights actually pay.

Yes, so they scare me. The whole experience does, I mean, if I get lost alone or something, I wouldn't know what to ride, where to go, how much money to pay and stuff. I mean, for all I know, the change the driver would be giving me could be like, 2 pesos short.

Tsk tsk, what a great big loss. I could've bought a piece of candy or something.

The only thing I like about it is the different stories I get to hear, whenever I ride one. I'm not really eavesdropping or being nosy or anything like that. I mean, it's a jeep and it's fairly small, and usually the people who talk talk talk don't actually care if everyone else is at the edge of his seat, listening closely to what just might happen next to Little Son James and his bad case of diarrhea.

Anyway, while I was riding the jeep with our helper (I was going to meet my cousins somewhere in Cubao or wherever, since our driver is and will NEVER be available during Sundays) and praying really hard that I would eventually survive the day without bruises or wounds or anything like that, since I swear, the jeepney driver was the most reckless driver in the history of reckless drivers ( I must've lost a billion brain cells during that ride) , a certain mother and her mother-in-law entertained me with their conversation, which included pirated DVDs, a son's certain Ice Age obsession (they bought 2 VCDs of it since the son turned their first one into a skateboard, for some really weird reason : maybe it's the Tony Hawk effect), and Britney SPEAR concerts (yes, without the S). and that, my friends, might just be the longest sentence ever .

It's funny, since this son (who loved Ice Age) was like smiling at me (he was like 3 years old or something), and of course I was not. I mean, I never really liked babies. Just some really cute babies are worth my time :)). But most of them are just annoying, and they don't deserve much attention from others other than their family members who apparently do care for them.

Okay, I'm evil.

Anyway, I went DVD shopping. I desperately want a Hey Arnold DVD, Seasons 1 to 5, but whatever, they don't freakin have it anywhere, not even in Amazon or something. They just don't do HA DVDs. I mean, that sucks. I swear, I'd pay big money for it. Swear. And I want the whole The Simpsons thing, but it's over 3000 so I'm still thinking about it. And maybe The Wonder Years and Little Lulu, but they don't exactly have those either so...
I wish the Eco Songfest "song" would actually turn out okay, I mean when we sing it. Since this "someone's" idea is completelycompletely horrendous and we cannot do a fugly thing about it, we have to bear with it. Zeeryooslee.

Uuuugh. Best of luck.

Cheers.

Devious and twisted,

Therese

PS: Writing is bloody murder. It's like squeezing a dried up lemon on a hot day, in the absence of loverly lemonade and a shade to save your summer. Writing is bloody murder. You can't whenever you have to, you can when you don't want to. Writing is bloody murder. You get stabbed at the back for trying, hated, talked about and killed for speaking up. Writing is bloody murder. It takes your time and your thoughts, feelings and efforts, to put together into something beautiful.
Writing is bloody murder, leaving you with nothing but a few random pages of unforgotten history and everlasting recollections.
Writing is murder. Sweet, fulfilling murder. ©

colds schmolds

i've got the colds, plus really manly voice and i hate it.

zeeeryooosleeee.

i've finally survived the dreaded periodical tests, and so far, my scores are okay.

not the great! kind of score, just the so-so one.

i guess what i mean is i haven't failed anything... yet.

teenstar results scare me. duuu-uuuuh. it was THE hardest. i mean, who memorized the Christian values which Eugenics, Secularism, Humanism, Situational Ethics, andsomethingimissed contradict?

i mean, really, who did?

i'm just glad because of the 3 day rest. we just stayed in the hotel with my family + some wacko cousins for those 3 days.

buffet all the way. yay.

chocolate fountain is lurveee.

anyhooo (ohmigaahd cheapskate :)) ), i freakin passed ECOSONG!

ooooh crimeny. i almost gave up on wishing i did pass because my voice was a bit screwed up during auditions. but God is good. zeeryooslee. haha lovesit.

profile picture taking tomorrow. i still am not sure about how the pictures are gonna look like. well who is anyway?
but the odds of having a picture i actually like is, what, 1 to a hundred?

plus i dont think my creative shot won't be creative enough. but blahdiblah. i'll just be my spontaneous self and do something weird there, since i can't think of anything.

*some random fact*- my cousin is weird. tripletimesweird. he knows every freakin car there is. we actually sort of "bonded" last Saturday because we went to Powerbooks (more books for me) and while we were at the parking lot I was pointing at random cars and he freakin knows every single one from the brand and the model and the whatchamacallits, and can tell at a glance. i swear he can. and the weirdest, creepiest thing was even if he only saw the "nguso" of the car (excuse me for talking like so, i can't think of a better term for it :)) ) he can identify what kind it freakin is.

(as we were about to turn left)
Cousin: "O ayan Eclipse o. blahdiblahdiblah, model blahdiblahdiblah"
(he only saw like 1/5 of the car because of the wall)
Therese: "Weeh, pano mo nalaman wala pa nga e."
(looks at the logo, and the car as we turned)
Therese: "Oh great... Tama ka nga"
(silence)
Therese: "How do you do that?"
(but then he just names other cars. i was amazed.)

well, who knows if that's something easy to do, i'm not a guy, and i can only tell the "brand" of the car by logos: Chevrolet, Lexus, whateverness. but i'm amazed because i can never ever in a million freakin years memorize those names and details and all. shites.

freakazoids run in the family.
of course i'm no exception.

i hope my colds disappear in a poof, together with my tiny annoying zit on the cheek.

that's not gonna look pretty in the yearbook.

Chat Peypoch, have mercy on my not so photogenic self.

editeditedit.

Cheers.

Devious and Twisted,

Therese

i'm a wonderchild

okaaaay, nevermind the title... haha

i am the greatest. really really really. :))

i managed to stay away from my loverly pc for 10 freaking days!!!! ( at least, i think it's 10) can you believe it?

well, i can't too, so i don't blame you :))

still exam week this week so i can't stay too long. nothing wowblogworthy thing happened last week anyway so i don't have much to say, except for "i am the greatest", and forgive me for sounding like a total stuck-up :)) i just never thought i could do it- till i did.

i've been eating nonstop since last last week. after a full meal, i'd have to eat more, basically whatever i find in the fridge or pantry, i enjoy. anna gave me a Snickers bar (with almonds) a while ago and even though i'm not the biggest fan of the peach family, chocolate's still chocolate. still loverly.

i got two new books last weekend. i started reading this monday but i couldn't really finish it because i "have" to study for the tests this week, according to my mom.

well really, i'm just interested in finishing the book, which is really interesting. i need to get more this weekend. i. need. more.

i am so addicted... and is that a bad thing?

we visited dad last saturday.

death anniversary.

6 years.

i still miss him.

okay, i've been sketching since last week. i hope practice is my one way ticket to UP FA. i seriously need to work on my shading. i just put the light spots anywhere and everywhere :)) i need to attend a workshop. seriously. and summer's so so so far away

got new classical guitar strings and i am loving my new guitar piece. - mountain air by alan hirsh. oh it's loverly, you have to hear it from somebody who can play it far better than i can :)) classical music is love.

ohyes, i also like our violin recital piece this sem. i mean, i enjoy playing it. fun. i dont think i'll have trouble memorizing this one this time, since i just want to practise and practise it.

okay so i am boring you and i need to study now.
still have incomplete notes in anal geom. shites. i need to call a classmate.
still waiting for the non-existent net notes.

where are my classsmates when i need them?

they might be sleeping. lazydaisy. uuuh i'm not making any sense.

chocolate does things to me. really

omgeeesh. i have to go before i totally lose it.

Cheers.

Devious and Twisted,

Therese

P.S. <<< I've changed my sidebar content a bit. i honestly don't know why i'm telling you this still. as if you'd ever read that long thing :))

sookas (hah. figure that out)

i shot the sheriff

OMGeeeehd.

i cannot cannot cannot believe it's all over.

but i love it anyway. UPCAT is done and can now be forgotten.

well, there's still ACET but i won't have to mind that till next month.

i wasn't able to finish the freaking math part! shotgun. sorry naman. i accept that i really am no good at it. ohGod.
if ever i don't pass the thing, i can blame it on my poor math and "guessing" skills (okay, i know i say this a lot but it is true anyway).

i followed my instincts to answer puzzling questions that just made me realize that i'm truly clueless about basically everything they were asking.

no really.

we're off to tagaytay tomorrow with my cousins!haylaveeeet. kaso naman, may sakit si taea. YOUSUCK! haha pagaling nalang para di mo na ko iiwan next time kk?

ayos to. relax relax nalang ulit ngayong week.
tapos balik aral sa susunod.

studying kills me.
seriously.

good luck to all of you guys taking the UPCAT tomorrow. i do hope you finish the math part. but i'm sure you will anyways, since i'm just the only sucky person around here.

it's really not that scary, you know? time's the real enemy.

wag mag aassume na marami ka pang oras dahil pag nasulat na yang "10 minutes left" sa blackboard at may 50 items ka pang di nasasagutan, nakakasira ng ulo...

grabe ang conyo nito.

okay. i refuse to think about UPCAT starting now till end of feb. dun na ko iiyak. till then, relax muna.

Cheers.

Therese

face it, sucko.

i'm the hero of fools.

all quoted.

"The sad truth is that the truth is sad."

"It's amazing how people are always willing to listen to a man in a funny costume"

"People don't always get what they deserve in this world"

"You can not be a supermodel."

"I'm beginning to think that washing my face is a complete waste of time"

"Most women would rather be Cindy Crawford than Marie Curie"

"The world is a harum scarum place."

"If a guy is witty, charming and artistic, he is probably gay."

"Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaraunt, filled with odd waiters who bring you items you never asked for and don't always like."

"In relationships, it is best to assume nothing."

"Not only am I very intelligent, but I am also very smart."

"Hey, I heard your friend died"

"Yea"

"Well, don't feel bad. He's an old guy, and that's what old guys do. They DIE."

"Certain things they should stay the way they are.You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and just leave them alone. I know it's impossible but it's too bad anyway."

"I remember how, a couple of days ago, you and I killed a couple of hours with a computer game. Perhaps the game amused me more than it did you; I desperately needed a little respite from all my thoughts. But each time we 'died' in that game, a new screen immediately came up, and we were off again. How can we know that there isn't a 'new screen' for our souls as well? I don't think there is, I really don't. But the dream of something unlikely has its own special name. We call it hope."

blasto fasto. congratulations, reader, you've clicked the scroll button long enough to have reached the part that nobody dares to reach. now buzz off.

cheers. Locations of visitors to this page
