back to effing square one.

this sucks.

i love modblog.

but i hate them for erasing my May entries.

i think i have given them a gazillion chances for fixing whatever problems they have.
i wanted to stay there because i've been there for 2 (or something) years, and the memories mean a lot to me.

but anyway, i'm here now. and i'll be using this blog (my old blog) because... i have to.

ANYWAY. stop the drama.

i missed blogging. i missed writing about random unimportant stuff that apparently matters to me for some bizarre reasons.

but i'm here now, and i'm hating the html thing of blogspot since i'm too boastful to not use available blogskins.
i just have to use my own, ugly result of photoshop-ing one boring boring afternoon.

SO.
new things to share...

~ i got my hair cut yesterday. ooh it's really short now, unlike those "trims" i used to have ( i used to not know how trim and haircut differed). my hair looks weird. but my fatso sister said "ate naiinggit ako. gusto ko din magpagupit" which i think is the best comment i could ever get about it, knowing that my sister has never said that, ever to anyone.

~ went to the beach for the first time this summer last week. hindi ako umitim kaya mas masaya. although i went there in the hopes of collecting lots of seaglass bits, but guess what... i found ONE.
so i just created electric guitars out of sand with cute little stones for tuning pegs and buried my cousins and sister and swam and watched the sunset and... the like. and of course, i ate a lot. A LOT. for instance, i ate 3 spareribs whatchamacallit with rice 2 chicken wings with rice and a plate of pancit, and cheetos and chocnut. IN ONE FREAKING MEAL.
and i'm still not fat.
okay, not that i'm complaining. but i honestly look like a corspe, complete with the darkest shade of eyebags you'll ever see.

~ since everyone's posting their own courses that they've placed in their immaculate maroon and white "oh-no-there's-a-black-thing-on-my-form-and-i-have-to-clean-it-or-i-won't-get-in!" UPCAT forms, so i might as well do the same, because you know. nobody wants to be left out.
my first choice is UP Diliman, and my 2nd is a big fat NONE. really? really.
the courses there are screaming "not you, therese" so if for some bizarre reason i get in there (which is so unlikely because the higher cut-off is UP Manila), i won't be well off.

1st choice: BA Fine Arts. (and i have to take the talent test for this too, so good luck to my not so talented self. SO for those who are about to yak off and say "walang trabaho jan". i'll be taking up Vis Com probably, graphic design which spells advertising, and hopefully, money too, if i get lucky.)

2nd choice: B Creative Writing. (okay, so maybe the job opportunities here are ... uuuh... never mind, but i love writing. so screw me)

okay, i didn't take up Music (despite the fact that i take up four lessons in UP Conservatory of Music) because i don't want to be a teacher. i just play because it's my passion. i don't want to teach. suckish. i think i'll suck at that. and i don't like the idea of competing because i get so so nervous that my fingers won't move and i'll mind the next note and forget about the incredible power of muscle memory. ok i'm not making sense, but i hope you're used to it by now. pero ang saya ng test (ata) nila. they have a line-up of songs to play. you just have to practice it. do what you enjoy doing the most, and you'll be off. swell, right? not if you mess it all up of course.)

~ i've been reading past issues of reader's digest and i am immensely enjoying the hobby. (ok that made no sense)

~ i've already watched The Da Vinci Code (in DVD, so i can say it pretty much sucked). wait for the nice pirated copies of it, so it won't spoil your viewing pleasure. (random sharing: sa Glorietta nakalagay - NOW SHOWING: THE VINCI CODE. *applause* i had to laugh. i just had to. way to go.)

~ i think i'll be going to my first real gimmick for this summer with my friends (with our helper, as always). june 2, friday. gateway daw. let's see how this works out.

~ TAYLOR WON! okay, because of the late post, i'm certain you already know about this. if there's one thing i've realized while watching seasons of American Idol, it's that to be famous, you have to be really really good, or.. be really really, bad. or stupid. whichever's more appealing to the audience.
can you believe that you get a Golden whatchamacallit award by being such a trying hard Clay Aiken fan?and you get the chance to sing on stage for trying to be one? imean let's face it. it's so much easier to act stupisd than compete with all the good ones of the country. you'll get bored people's attention, (which includes majority of those who watch TV)
what if I do an impersonation of Taylor Hicks? complete with the jerky dance moves... and the grey hair... it's a one way ticket to the AI stage i bet.

SO. Classes for the unfortunate students of the School of the Holy Spirit QC (which sadly includes me) start at June 5, and we shall all wake up at 5:00 in the morning of June 5 while the rest of the world enjoys peaceful slumber. the only thing i like about first day of classes is that everything is new. New notebooks, new bags (hopefully) and new shoes to show off to others (just kidding). The feeling of "newness" can be quite overwhelming.
But once my Superman covered notebooks get its very first tear and my black polished school shoes gets soiled by the carelessness of an annoying classmate with large feet, i shall start hating school again.

Anyway, i am so not looking forward to the teachers. God knows how i hate *bleep*. I can only hope that i'll make it through the first quarter without throwing the chalkdust collector whatchamacallit at her face.

So tell me.

Psyched about school???

Not.

Cheers.

Devious and Twisted,

Therese

face it, sucko.

i'm the hero of fools.

all quoted.

"The sad truth is that the truth is sad."

"It's amazing how people are always willing to listen to a man in a funny costume"

"People don't always get what they deserve in this world"

"You can not be a supermodel."

"I'm beginning to think that washing my face is a complete waste of time"

"Most women would rather be Cindy Crawford than Marie Curie"

"The world is a harum scarum place."

"If a guy is witty, charming and artistic, he is probably gay."

"Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaraunt, filled with odd waiters who bring you items you never asked for and don't always like."

"In relationships, it is best to assume nothing."

"Not only am I very intelligent, but I am also very smart."

"Hey, I heard your friend died"

"Yea"

"Well, don't feel bad. He's an old guy, and that's what old guys do. They DIE."

"Certain things they should stay the way they are.You ought to be able to stick them in one of those big glass cases and just leave them alone. I know it's impossible but it's too bad anyway."

"I remember how, a couple of days ago, you and I killed a couple of hours with a computer game. Perhaps the game amused me more than it did you; I desperately needed a little respite from all my thoughts. But each time we 'died' in that game, a new screen immediately came up, and we were off again. How can we know that there isn't a 'new screen' for our souls as well? I don't think there is, I really don't. But the dream of something unlikely has its own special name. We call it hope."

blasto fasto. congratulations, reader, you've clicked the scroll button long enough to have reached the part that nobody dares to reach. now buzz off.

cheers. Locations of visitors to this page
